TORONTO MOTORSPORT PARK(DRAGPARK) FRIDAY MAY 7th!!!

Hey everyone,

I'm organizing a track night at Cayuga Drag Park (Toronto Motorsport Park) Friday May 7th, 2010.

So far I have some classic muscle cars, bikes, a rat truck, porsche and a Mustang coming.
Was hoping to get a few Camaro's out to spank these guys
Either way, it should be a good fun night out.

I have emailed the park to find out how much it will cost per car to race, last year it was $30 per car/unlimited racing.

I can post up directions if anyone needs it.

Ok Guys.
So let's meet at 6:30 at Tim Horton's on Brant St & North Service Rd in Burlington. This is in the same plaza as Burger King (Across the street from Costco)
We will leave Tim Hortons at 6:45 sharp and head to Cayuga Drag Park (Approx 35 min drive)

Directions to Cayuga from Toronto, Burlington, Oakville:

Take QEW West over the Skyway Bridge
Exit at Centennial Parkway (Hwy #20)
Follow Hwy #20 (Hwy #20 turns into Hwy #56) until you reach Hwy #3
Turn right on Hwy #3
Follow through the town of Cayuga and over the Grand River Bridge
The 2nd road on your left is Kohler Road
Turn left on Kohler Road and follow for approximately 4 miles
Turn left into Toronto Motorsports Park

Cayuga has not emailed me back yet to tell me how much money...but I hear it's still $30 all you can race.

Should be a good night, weather will be about 8c at night...perfect for racing

P.S. If we need to leave later due to guys getting off work etc...let me know.
I'd rather have to leave at 7 or 7:30 and have a few cars come out.

Also, remember that if your car runs faster then 13.99 then you must wear a helmet in the car.
The Camaro's factory run anywhere from 12.9 - 13.2
So you will need a lid.

13.99 you say. Guess I don't need a helmet for my V6 then. I doubt I will be anywhere near the 13's. Would be happy with 14's if that. Now I just need to figure out how to get to the meeting spot from Mississauga (401/403 area). I can just imagine the insanity on the 403/QEW at rush hour.

Ya it can be pretty bad, I come home from work from Burlington to Mississauga and the other side can be brutal right from 403/QEW to Third Line of further.

I have still not heard from the track yet. I heard through the grape vine that its only $20 to race and $10 to watch now!
