17 or 18 inch rims/tires for 5th Gen ??

Has anyone gone to 17 or 18 inch rims/tires setup with the larger sidewall as compared to the low profile 20 inch rims/tires? This would create a more comfortable ride and lessen the vibration from the sensitive 20" rims/tires but with the cost of performance of course. Still battling annoying vibration at highway speeds especially on cold tires. It's better after they warm up but still noticeable.

With 255/60R17 or 275/60R17 raised white letter tires (Cooper Cobra Radial) are available. Would need to find 17" rims as well. Hmmm...

245/55/18s on the 2LS. 305/30/19s on the Z. The 2LS rides very smoothly, the Z is harsh by design. My guess is you may be battling something other than wheel size as MANY folks out there have 20s w/no problems. How many miles and how old are your tires? How many miles on the vehicle? You may just need some new skins and maybe shock absorber improvements.

This. My Camaro is lowered 1.25 inches, 285/35 tires on the front,, 335/30 tires on the rear, and she rides really smoothly, almost like a Caddy.. lol. Smooth and quiet too at all speeds..
