LSA or aftermarket!?!
With the days of finding a cheap LSA behind us, why even bother looking for anything but aftermarket now? I can't see spending 5k+ for a used blower and install kit. At this point why not just spend a little more and get a new kit...am I wrong?

My guess is some people like using OEM parts and find a better deal than the $5k+ you mentioned. If I was in the market for a supercharger, I agree that I would be looking at options other than the LSA.

I went the LSA route. Did it for around $5k, I didn’t do a kit because I was trying to see how cheap I could do it for.
I question now if spending $6k on a Whipple may have been better. Currently contemplating a Kong which would be an easy swap with my LSA.

Which Kong are you looking at? I have read somewhere they are coming out with a larger SC for the LSA.

I lucked out and got a brand new ECS 1500 complete tuner kit for 4k. The other option I was looking at was a Maggie or whipple. The LSA is a great power maker though!

Keep checking the classified section. Now and then a great deal will pop up. Mine has an interesting back story to it, that's why I got it so cheap.
Pretty much any boosted camaro is a fun ride. I do admit that I make a bit of noise when around town. But it wouldn't be fun if it was quiet lol. Good luck which ever you go with.

Yeah the used LSA blowers are way too pricey imo. I think the ESS kit is the best bang for the buck right now.

That was stolen... lucked out still though. Lol
I don’t understand why people say “I like the factory look”. Maggie/whipple/KB looks factory. Hell my ECS looks factory.

I don’t know the number, but it can handle up to 1000hp.
