Aeroforce gauge?

So FYI, i've got the low rent '12 V6 with no performance mods and don't plan on any.

Been wanting to upgrade from no gauges to Phasteks GM 4 gauge package but does it make more sense to go with a single Aeroforce gauge and mount? How is the quality of Aeroforce?
Since I plan to keep it long term 100 monitored readings available would be beneficial for any future troubleshooting and I have also heard the 4 gauge console package is more of a close reading than actual dead-on which is typical of GM stuff.

Would I regret the Aeroforce purchase?
How's the install using the vent mount?
Or just go 4 gauge?

I have the dual pillar mount set and love them!! And yes the GM 4 gauge cluster on my console just shows "close" to what it really is according to my Aeroforce gauges. I would say get them, you can scroll thru the menu on them and monitor everything..

So would there be any advantage for myself to run two gauges on a stock V6?

thats what I would do instead of the OEM 4 pack. The aeroforce gauges have way more useful parameters to look at and they would be in the 4 pack location.

I have the OEM 4 pack, dual aeroforce gauges on their vent pod

Have to say I'm not crazy about the idea of the vent mount (think winters when you're calling for heat and summers where you might want the A/C from that vent).

The A-pillar location puts the gauge up in a more heads-up vertical location, but off to the side where you're not going to see it unless you either actively look at it or you have an annunciator set (I think most typically that would be an upshift rpm indicator).

I've had the single gauge since 2014, the A-pillar mounted one, and upgraded that to a double somewhat later (a second gauge and cabling for two rather than one . . . mainly for track day purposes, so the second gauge gets removed otherwise).

The black oval is an approximation of where OEM HUD displays tend to end up, which I personally would find distracting.

I have the dual pod also. No visual problems. I have the single pod also, if you do go with just a single gauge I’ll sell it to you.
