Sooooo...you wait until your first door ding/scratch then take it in for warranty repair of the handle..."oh, and btw...how much more to take care of that scratch?"

I haven't noticed that, but of course now I will have to go out to the garage and look.

It's not thin on my car, same color and metallic content. Check your front fascia at the top corners where the headlights are. Some people found some thin paint there also.

Does anybody know if the headlight-corner problem is covered under warranty. I've noticed that it's an obvious issue on the rally yellow.

Thanks, Eddie

Yep, mine has that issue.

I'm thinking the thin paint on the backside of the door handles is from "shadowing" of the spray exiting the spray gun due to not enough inclination of the nozzle angle to correctly wet-out the backside of the handles.

I'm sure more people have this issue.

Is it my imagination or do the yellow Camaros have more of the paint problems?

Whichever part that you may feel is a field defect and/or production defect, the dealer must replace it under warranty.

If told otherwise, write to GM and explain the defect and how your dealer is refusing the replacement under warranty.

Best of luck.
