Clicking When Taking off and going into 2nd?

When I drive my 2012 camaro ss 6spd there is a clicking that sounds like it is coming from the rear end. I just got the whole diff replaced with a new one, I don't know if it is the axles or what. It is worrying me and 2nd gear seems to not grind but make a little more noise than the other gears when they engage.

BUMP

I’m having the same issue on mine when I take off and shift to second or shift down I can hear a click. I added a ring on the rear that goes behind the rotors and it stopped it for about a month but the clicking came back

I was getting the same thing but it would do it when decelerating and sometimes while turning at low speeds. Just like a click click also I had a major click sound when I went from reverse to drive or drive to reverse. I had just replaced to axles with some cheapies from rock auto and they always clicked. I thought it was normal until it got real bad. So then a couple weeks ago I bought some oem ac delco axles that they had at summit racing and had them put in. No more clicking! I was so happy. Just to let you know there is no difference in between the manual and the auto axles. The reason I know is because I had to get manual axles cause I could not find the right rear auto axle anywhere. It seems that gm discontinued it for some dumb reason. Hope this helps.
