Bogging under acceleration

Hey guys, I have a 2010 SS LS3. I just started to notice that while under around 2200 rpm when I press the accelerator it has hesitation and bogs out until I pick up some speed. So if I’m in 5th gear going around 50 it will show those symptoms. But if I’m going in like 3rd gear and going like 35-40 and press the pedal it seems fine. Does this in all gears if I’m low enough rpm. No codes yet been like about 3-4 days so far with these symptoms. Any ideas or things I can check.
Thanks for any help or advice.

Only things I have on there is intake and muffler delete. With a Diablo tuner.

Look into having your catalytic converters inspected if you have them. How many miles?

Ok so quick update. I changed the spark plugs stayed with the AC Delcos made sure each one was at the .040 gap. I also cleaned the throttle body with throttle body cleaner I took it off the car. And also cleaned the maf sensor with maf cleaner. Last thing I cleaned the air filter as well.
At first when I started the car it had a really rough idle like it was misfiring so checked all the wires to make sure they were tight and on and checked all the sensors. Turned it back on and went for a test drive and the idle seems ok now and the initial problem seems to be gone as well but now I have a new problem.
:(.
So when I drive the car is normal but when I switch out of gear to neutral the rpm stays at 2k until the car reaches 0mph and then drops back to normal. While I’m driving if I have the clutch pressed in it will go to normal rpm but if I let go of the clutch before a complete stop it will shoot back up to 2k rpm until fully stopped.

I seen some other people have this problem after they clean their throttle body also. Someone said they had someone use a snap on scan tool to force the idle and crank variation relearn.

Does any one know what other types of scan tools can do this? I have a Diablo Tuner but don’t know if it has that function

Disconnect the battery for 10-15 mins and retry. The computer will auto relearn the idle

I’ll give that a try but I’ve read where people have tried that and to no avail but can’t hurt to try. The 2 people that had fixed their problem, 1 solution was the scanner and the other guy said he drove for about 1000 miles for it to slowly relearn the idle.

So if the battery thing don’t work does anyone in the San Fernando valley by chance have a snap on scan tool or any tool that can force the crank variation relearn? 👏

My Camaro did this when we cleaned my MAF. It took about 1 entire day of driving around town, and highway to get her back "relearned" of my driving habits. It will relearn after a bit of driving. Good luck.

You had the exact same problem? With the car not going below 2k rpm until fully stopped? If so I really hope a little bit of driving will get back to normal. Cause 1000 miles like the other guy would be around 2 months for me

Also did you just drive normal and have it rev to 2k all the time or did you engage the clutch when in neutral until fully stopped?

My Camaro is an auto, and yes it did all that. When I come to stops I always put her in nuetral, it takes the pressure off on the tranny clutch packs cause it is not in gear trying to push the car, have always done this with my auto trans cars. I drove around most of the day, about 100 miles or so and it cleared itself of the issue. The ECU has to relearn all your driving habits as well as the idle circuit that is tuned into it. It should go away after a bit of driving, if it doesn't something different is up. And yes I drove normal, which for me is kinda aggressive, but not overly. Just drive it like you always do.

Ok I’ll try to just drive it for a bit and see how it goes. Just so annoying when going to neutral and revs at 2k till full stop. Sounds so cringing lol
