Rear wheel out of round feeling?

When I first drive my car after it has been sitting overnight the rear wheels feel like they are out of round, sort of like a wobble. It goes away after about 2 blocks. Is this common? I have never had a car do this before. Thanks.

yeap, the Pirellis will have flat spots on them because of the cold, the reason why they go away is because the heat brings them right back to normal. Completely normal.
Dont worry about it

Yep, this got me for a while too. Felt like a big glob of mud on one spot of the tire.

Wow, I was just searching for this problem too! Yes, I noticed it after parked in the garage overnight. Every morning when I jump in the car and drive to the Hwy, I feel it "hop". I once got out to check to see if I had a flat and the TPMS didn't go off. But after 1/2 mile of driving it stops doing this.

So, next question then, will this happen with all Z rated tires, or just the Pirellis?

Very common. Either a harder compound tire or jackstands.

More likely with a Z rated tired since most Z rated use a softer blend when cold will hold a flat spot till they warmup .
