Replacing Rear Main Cover (Housing) again

I’m taking the rear crank cover (housing) off for a second time since I have the clutch and flywheel off. Going to change the gasket and add a steal galley oil plug.

My question is this:
I used Gasket Maker the first time I took the cover off and used it along the corners and complete bottom side of the cover when installing. Now that I’m going to pry it off again, can I successfully get the gasket maker off of the oil pan gasket and re-apply for the re-install or do I need to replace the oil pan gasket now? Hopefully that makes sense.

Thanks

This is how I originally applied Gasket Maker, but not as much as that photo shows. That is not my car, this was taken from YouTube.

I guess if you goop it all on again maybe it will seal but I don't see how. I didn't do all that with mine, I just put it in the corners and it sealed fine. Oh and don't forget to put locktite on your flywheel bolts.
