Unhappy Possible Seized Engine

Did my cam install, converted motor from l99 to ls3, got a base tune and started the car and after hearing what sounded like piston slap, I turned it off, and now the car won’t crank, but will turn by hand. Pulled the plugs and coolant leaked out of the spark plug hole on cylinder #8. I had changed every gasket, fluid, and the plugs, so i’m really at a loss and don’t think I have any choice but to pull the motor again and hope the supercharger isn’t damaged. I don’t know what to do at this point I feel like i’ve really ****ed something up and I know this is probably a pointless post, I just don’t know what else to do. I’m also new to this site and don’t know how to post a video with sound to show what the noise sounded like.

Did you put thread sealant on the head bolts? I think at least some of them require sealant.

Hopefully you didn't hydrolock your motor. I think you need to pull that head and see what is going on.

At what point were you able to turn it by hand? Before or after pulling the plugs? If it were after, then I would agree that one, or more, of the cylinders hydro-locked. With the plugs out, the starter should be functioning normally.

When the heads were off, prior to re-assembly, did you clean & blow out all of the head bolt holes with brake cleaner & compressed air?

It could be something as simple as an improper/faulty head gasket, or worst case, you have a cracked block or cylinder head.

Keep us updated!

Man, I hope you get it sorted out. I’d love to be able to do my own cam job but... https://youtu.be/_VrFV5r8cs0
