Low mileage insurance?
Has anyone checked into the low mileage insurance that On-Star subscribers can get through GMAC insurance? Pretty good discounts if your Camaro is not your DD but I was wondering if the rates are competitive with other insurances.

When I've quoted my cars, GMAC has been close, but not the cheapest.
And certainly not low enough to leave my agent who I have been with for over 15 years. But I like to have all my insurance in one place, which some of you may think is silly if not stupid, but they took very good care of us when out house flooded.............................and his motorcycle rates are great.

Yeah, I like having all of mine with one local agent. I can actually go to his office and talk to him face to face. It's rare these days.

USAA, that's all you need to know....I had a different company, well a few call the house to see if I wanted to switch and once they found out I'm with USAA they just say thank you and sorry to disturb you..
I guess they can't compete with them...

I have my insurance with Barrett Jackson carrier - they do almost any type of policy but for my cars I use the agreed value collector car insurance. I can drive up to 2,000 miles a year (only have 275 miles in 6 months) and the premium for 12 months is $142 for full coverage.

I checked with Grundy (I have them for my 69 Z/28, 2000 V6 Camaro, 2001 Z/28, and my 2007 Haulmark enclosed car hauler) they will insure a 5th Gen no problems.
