ANybody know what type diode I can use to keep my DRL's from turning on my sidemarker lights when i run them. I've installed the jumper (as seen in many other posts) to pull the power off the sidemarkers to fire my DRL's when the headlights are on. But, I don't want the sidemarkers to light when the DRLs are doing their regular duty.

Any old diode from Radio Shack would do the trick. Just check to make sure you've it installed the right way before you solder it in place.

Try to get a 1 watt and if there is a strip on it it goes to where you want power.
