JL Audio Clean Sweep - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Who uses the JL Audio Cleen Sweep, what's your opinon on it. Did it improve the sound of the head unit ? Replaced the rear deck and door speaker and after tuning still sounds a 'lil off to me. I am thinking it's the head unit. I am using just RCA cables no LOC On the BA premium, now JL audio "more" premium sound system.

While I have not personally used it, this piece of equipment has a great reputation. I have been considering getting it as well.

Are you using an aftermarket amp? I changed all the speakers, added a sub or two, running off 2 amps (all jl) and it sound amazing

Yes, I am using a JL Slash 300/4 on TR Series 6x9's Rear and using JL C5's on the doors And a A1800 mono on two JL 10's wo's. I am planning on going with W6's It sounds ok, much better than the factory. I may need to tune it some more. I was thinking a clean sweep may clean the sound up a bit it seems to still cut out at higher volumes 20 is about all I can go before destortion.
