Wouldn’t do the 850’s they have been discontinued for years and apparently still sitting around some shops.

I strongly suggest getting your intercooler brick reinforced , especially with upping the boost and expanding coolant resi for your SC

I figure 80hp maybe but you will get more when headers and exhaust are installed. What do you guys think?

With a good tune on E85 I would guess a potential of at least 100HP, headers won't make a much of a difference at those power levels as the factory manifolds are pretty good. You may not get there as a boost-a-pump will limit you on E85. You would be wise to invest in an AUX pump or higher flow pump if you planning to do much more (everyone eventually does). Buy once cry once.

What would you recommend as an alternative.

Thanks for all the good advice on 850s, intercooler brick reinforce and boost a pump vs high flow..

I will check with the shop on options along these lines.

Thanks much…

Side note..was at the shop today reviewing work order to put the brick reinforcement in..

regarding the 850s.. Owner said these are new stock and still available..

He has and continues to install these regularly. He said I can move to upgraded ones if I prefer but he said for what I am looking for…no need to.

I am targeting approx 700-725 whp once headers and exhaust upgrade takes place in a year or so.. the upgrade mentioned above he said should get me +100whp.. he showed me on the dyno PC the results from a Camaro he just had these mods installed .. had another
Newer camaro getting work done. Beautiful…900hp

Folks here warned me…indeed you were correct.. this hp mod journey is addicting

I thought that FIC still make 850 cc injectors 94 lbs per hour, but injector dynamics discontinued the 850's and moved to the 1050X injectors, however I think if you plan to go full E85 you are going to need 1300 cc injectors at least in the injector dynamics brand.

1050X injectors are fine at 700rwhp on E85.
