SS 2011 vs 2012 differences

Recently I drove the 45th 2012 SS and looks like that this stock car has a much louder engine and exaust sounds. Both are A/T. My 2011 SS is much more quiter inside, I don't hear the exaust at all (except full throttle). Also mine in AFM mode makes a vibrations and rough sounds but this 2012 SS produces zero AFM sounds.

What did GM changed in engine and exaust in 2012 SS ?

Oh yes, my mileage is 118.000 and it's 20.000

2012 is the sweet spot. Perfect looks and none of the extra bs to clutter up the dash

To my knowledge they didn't change anything. Did they by any chance on the other car have the big giant resonator removed? That would make it louder, or they swapped out the mufflers from stock to something else. And yeah, in the AFM mode you will feel and hear some noises and vibrations. I did until I tuned it out.
