Question about anniversary car

How does the camaro "dieing" in 02 affect it's future anniversary cars? This might be a dumb question, but do we get a 45th anv car in 2012?

Hmmm... I honestly have NO idea, I wouldn't think its hiatus would affect us getting an anniversary model.

Not a big deal because as said I think the most requested is gonna be Z28. Besides the SS. SS is already great for collectors that plan on keeping the car 4 eva.

Camaro didn't die....it went on hiatus....and they remained all over the roads on 'planet earth' -- so 2012 would be the 45th Anniversary of the first Camaro -- which was 1967.

Sorry I couldn't think of a better word than die at the time, but in 02 I felt like i'd lost something very dear to me. Unlike others, i've always had faith in a 5th gen z\28, I know you can't say much but the overwhelming cries for the Z on this forum alone should tell GM that a Z will sell.

My wife is going back to school so a couple of months ago I resigned my self to the fact that 2012 will be the year I'll buy the car, then it struck that's the 45th Anniversary and got excited because I know GM will have something nice waiting for me!

I wonder what models might get anniversary editions for Chevrolet's 100th anniversary in 2011....

I would assume it wont, take for example the 35th anniversary Mustang that came out not too long ago..... yet 90-92 there was not a mustang, if i do remember right.

I know they didn't produce the vette for a year, so I guess it makes sense that the anv will stay the same.
