What sensor is this?

What is the sensor called these wires are going into (orange circle)? Is this the knock sensor? This is on passenger side.

Thanks

Yep, just broke the plastic wire shielding around mine too, so I taped it in black electrical tape and cut a section of hosing, which I zip tied to hold together around that.

My issue is the wire inside the shielding seems to have been burnt by the header. I'll have to somehow get this connector off, which given my luck with connectors, it's probably going to break. The space is so tight and I hope I can get it off without needing to remove the header 🥹

Did you ever get this fixed? I probably have the connector if you need one.
