Transmission cooler line question

Hey guys/gals,

Working on my girl’s 2011 SS with manual tranny. The transmission cooler lines need to be replaced. I can’t seem to find a part number for the set or anything online for sale. I’ve only seen ones listed for auto transmission. Any help is appreciated!

No luck? I haven’t tried researching, but as far as all the aftermarket swaps, I see a lot of custom stainless steel lines and AN fittings… Not sure if you wanna go that route, although it would be more flexible and much more serviceable. I’d suggest just buying them off of a salvaged/donor car; there’s plenty of manual 5th gen SS’ you can probably ask someone parting them out for.

When I hooked up the diff cooler on both my cars, I just used braided hose and 6an/6an ORB fittings at the trans and cooler.

Are you talking about the 2011 convertible SS in your signature/bio? I forget what option the Z28 factory diff is, which I’m assuming is the diff you’re speaking of with cooling lines. Is it a similar setup to the ZL1 factory diff, with the cooling lines?

As for the transmission, looks rather simple to do; we just need to find out the thread pitch of the bell housing and radiator ports, where the cooler line fittings go into. From there, we can just find threaded AN fittings with the correct thread pitch — simple. For the Camaro’s though, it’d probably be easier just to get the parts and lines off of another salvaged/donor car.
