Help me guess

I seem to have a bit of an oil leak. For the life of me, though, I can't see where it's coming from. I can see it a bit on the side of the block, across the bottom of the heads from back to front. And I have some wetness down the trans bell housing.

I was kind of thinking valley cover, but it's clean all around front and sides where I can see. Thought maybe oil sending unit, but I can't see the damned thing.

For reference, the following have been done and recently, so I'm confident about them.
- Valve covers.
- Front main
- Oil pan seal
- Rear main (new clutch)

From what I experienced with oil leaks, when I had one from the top of the engine it was the valve cover on the passenger side, we replaced both, and a short while, maybe 4-5 months it started leaking again, come to find out the gasket got pinched because it didn't seat properly, fixed that and no more leak. The other place I have seen oil leaks from was the back side of the valley cover, and sending unit, but I never had those pop up yet.

Only decent sized oil leak I have had on this car was right after I had my valve covers removed. Apparently the gasket on one side had slipped while putting the cover back on. When I took it off (Fel-Pro Blue gasket) I noticed the thing looked huge compared to before I installed it, like it had stretched somehow. Replaced with another and been fine since.

Buy yourself an oil dye kit and a black light. Take the guess work out of it.
