2025 mid-engine Camaro is a hoax...

I'll start with I know the 2024 Camaro was the last production year. Well a buddy of mine at the gym told me the mid-engine 2025 Camaro is really cool looking. I didn't believe him so I Googled it. If you Google it you will see it. I was doubtful if it was true but I had to find out. I couldn't find out when and the price on the Z28 so I stopped at the Chevrolet dealership to inquire for the hell of it. Salesman said it was all BS and I was his 7th person to ask. He said just like the new Chevelle it's Fake-News. Guess someone has a lot of time on their hands to make this crap up.

Yes. A bunch of AI renders have been circulating for a while. Definitely BS.

I argued at length with a hockey parent that an EV Camaro does not currently exist. He wouldn't believe me and even with Google in hand he wanted to convince me it exists. At least a mid engine rumour is cooler than the EV rumour. But clickbait is there because there is an audience for it I guess.

The best we can hope for is an electrified 7th gen coupe to help the next gen V8 with CAFE. I can't imagine this project would even be close to a priority for GM in the near term. There is space under the Corvette now however.

If we're lucky, GM is paying attention to the Dodge Charger BEV sales figures while they toy around with the idea that muscle car folks want a skateboard battery on wheels under the Camaro nameplate.

I think Stellantis is wishing they had released the ICE version first

I read an article today that said the sales are so bad that Stellantis is discontinuing the sale of the base model, the model that actually sold the most
