125k Blackstone Laboratories engine oil results - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Got my oil sample results back from Blackstone Laboratories for 125k miles. My last report at 100k showed increased metals and they said something about it and said if there were some internal engine work done recently that it may not be an issue. I did not tell them about the heads and cam swap I just did so made sense. This sample showed the improvement now that the new parts are ran in.

I send a sample every time I do an oil change too. I'll send the next sample sometime closer to spring. I also did a head swap so let's see if it's in the report.

I'm liking Blackstone. I've been sending samples from all my vehicles for the last few years. And they are in the city that I grew-up in. I've been sending Camaro Samples. The first was at 297,000 miles. I wonder what the change over the years would show had I been sending them since it was new.
