Help with 99 silverado brakes
i have a 99 silverado and i dont like the brake system on it. I think its the weakest system GM made the back brakes is what slows u down instead of the front. I would like to put a bigger brake kit on it but the only thing i can find is these Wild Wood brake calipers http://www.jegs.com/i/Wilwood/950/250-8963/10002/-1
The ABS brakes wont slow you down and if you slam on them it sounds like something breaks. Thanks |

My shop put the 98 and back rotor and pad GM part numbers on and got far better results. You can only do it with the rears as the front is a different design.
