LGs 11 sec camaro!
First off I want to say hi, new to the board! I am 29 and have owned 2 camaros, a 94 and 97 z28 both modded! Right now I have a 70 cutlass street/strip car and I plan on selling it next year to fund a 2010 camaro
I am very excited abou the new camaro, I am in love!Any way I have a question about a 2010 camaro that LG motorsports has. I seen this car had only, full exhaust, cai, and a tune and runs high 11s with 427rwhp! I noticed other camaros with more power are having a hard time hitting 11s, did LG lighten there car? Has anyone seen this car or have the info on what was really done? My plans are to get a SS m6 and put a healthy cam in it with full exhaust, I want to see 11s but I could not belive LG put a 2010 in the 11.80s with only an exhaust and a tune Thats awesome if its true!

Congrats and Welcome. That driver mod is a pretty important one as well. A LOT of people underestimate that.
edit: I have no idea as to what car you're talking about so I'll tread lightly. You're looking at about ~50 rwhp with those mods, and I'd imagine that's pretty achievable with the tune. They might have had drag radials or just slicks. Hard to know without knowing what car you're talking about specifically. edit2: found the video it seems you're talking about here: Seems they're running a nice set of tires and skinnies up front. |

That's a 1 in a million driver first of all. He also changed out his brakes and wheels for a significant weight loss. Check out the 1/4 mile fast list, he's on top of just about every category.(OrangeChevyII). He runs low 10's with bolt ons, cam, tune and 200 shot. Nobody has come close to his time with the same mods.

It is a very strong car to say the least, and he has more than a handful of passes down the track with that car as well.

I want to start off with Long tubes and exhaust, CAI, full custom tune, 4.10 gears, anyone have any idea how much horse that would be pushing with these mods, I would love to get into the 11's.

I figured he was one hell of a driver
I am gonna need that cam just to make up my driving at first! Thing is... My cutlass runs 11.60s in street trim and when I build the camaro I dont want to get stuck back in the 12s! I dont see me having much of a budget, other then the cam, full exhaust and tune at first, so I will be picking these parts carefully.I was very impressed orangechevy, what size tires are up front? Thanks for the replies guys, I dont have my SS yet... but I want to be ready when I get it! It might go from the dealer to the speed shop the first day |
