it's not that easy.i think you still have to pay instate taxes.
just call your local registration where you get your tags.they can tell you.

No, you will have to pay taxes in the state you live in.

When you go to register your car, your local DMV will ask for one of two things a) proof that you already paid your states sales tax on the new car or b) for you to pay the state sales tax on the car.

If you buy out of state, the salesman will not figure in the sales tax on the final amount of the car but before you can register the car and get a tag and title you still must pay the sales tax at your local DMV office (which is "B" up above).

If you buy instate, the salesman will figure up sales tax and add it to the final amount and will report it to the DMV as paid. He also will give you the papers showing that it was paid to give the DMV when you go and register the car ("A" up above).

Also sales tax is based on where you live NOT where you buy the car. You can not go out of state to where it's cheaper, pay it, and then register the car in your state expecting to save money. You still must pay your states sales tax even if you paid the sales tax of another state.

Mr. Draco is correct. Unless you have a tax ID number, you will pay tax in the state you title and register it.
