I still have not seen one Camaro commercial. I have seen Mustang and Challenger commercials, but not a Camaro. The Camaro does not need paid avertisement to sell.

Apparently you have'nt heard of Transformer's?

Seem's like a pretty big advertisement to me.

There's like six minutes of actual 5gen camaro footage in over 5 hours of movie (Transformers and Revenge). I wouldn't call those movies a commercial for Camaros.

That's a pretty long commercial especially when you figure in all of the advertising for the movie.

I was thinking of buying a C6 but the Camaro is just too much car to turn down for the money. Not to start a pissing contest but the reason I think the Camaro is king is...

1. Latest technology
2. Lots of safety built into the car.
3. Independent suspension
4. 800lbs. of extra metal to keep you safe.
5. Fold down backseat.
6. A backseat
7. Large enclosed trunk.

The only positives I can see for a C6 are......
1. Great styling - not better than a Camaro but sportier
2. Better mpg/aerodynamically superior
3. Feels faster
4. Nicier interior, IMHO

I agree with all of this except when it comes to nicer interior I drove a Z06 and the interior was too bland looked like it was from 2001 or 2002the camaro has a way better interior

It's the best because simply put... it is the best. No need for further explanation. The car is great in all its years. It's been a performer from the start and has grabbed tons of awards along the way to exceed the Challenger and Mustang. Enough said.

As stated, there's not much footage of the 5th Gen in the movies. Of course there will always be those who flock to something because it was in a movie. But it's a proven car with many generations... that's why it's popular.

And I never4 said the only reason it sold was because of the movie I said it was a giant Camaro/GM commercial.

The Camaro is selling faster than GM anticipated. I don't think that they would get a reasonable return on their investment with a commercial at this point. If sales slow down, you'll probably see a commercial. That's my guess.

Why's it the best? If you have to ask..............

There was a Mustang in the first movie, but like most mustangs it didn't make it to the end.

They haven't had much of an advertising budget lately. That's going to change soon though.
