I've been doing what others have in just tapping into the rear speaker outputs at the BA X2 connector. What you Should be doing is using the sub out wires on the X1 connector. Yes they are active on the coupe even though there is no subwoofer. just watch my video. It sounds way better!

Be advised these are high level so make sure your line converter can handle both. Pin outs are in the video description.
