Hey,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I picked up a 2SS/RS last night from Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg, MD.

I actually traded in my 2010 Ford Mustang GT for it

I bought the Mustang and did enjoy it but I really wanted the Camaro when I originally purchased it, but at that time you had to order and I couldn't get a decent price. I definitely liked the Mustang but there's no comparison between the two, in my opinion, in terms of looks. It also felt like a punch in the gut when I found out about the 5.0 in the 2011s. I knew if I wanted to get into something other than the Mustang...everyday I waited, the price would keep rocketing down as the 2011 5.0 comes closer and closer to coming out.

Anyways...the main thing is...my wife actually loved the idea of getting rid of the Mustang and getting the Camaro

. I think she loves the Camaro more than me. We went to Criswell Chevy and everything went smooth. Had a great experience there...Tim was my salesman and he took care of us. We got the car which MSRPs for 37,6xxk for 36,1xxk.

It's a 2SS/RS Inferno Orange with black stripes, 6spd, Polished wheels, and Interior accent package. We absolutely love the car!

I've owned a 2000 Corvette and my parents have owned quite a few vettes that I've had the enjoyment of trying/testing out (1997, 2000, 2008). So, I'm definitely happy to be back in the chevy family and with the LSX engines.

*** Forgot to mention...we have 10 month old girl...so for anyone wondering if a carseat fits in the backseat...it definitely does...more than enough room ***

FatalSports, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

If the dealer name plate is double sided tape use some fishing line and get behind the tape and use a sawing motion then a cleaner wax to remove any residue left behind.Other than that great car.
