US BANK RANT

I love banks! Yes, I do. I made a $1,000 payment to my credit card with them on Friday. I called Monday wondering why my web payment never went thru. The girl on the phone got really bitchy and she told me no payment went thru and now I'm being charged a late fee for being 1 hour late. I made a web payment I swear I did. I did a phone payment of $1,000 and I was going to have to fight with the late charge on my next statement. I'm not bragging but I have never made a late payment to anything my entire life. I come home from work yesterday go check my online checking and guess what the web payment of a $1,000.00 comes out again and puts me in the - category. So i snatch some money from my savings and call up the dumb bank to complain. I was then entered in a 3 way conversation with my bank and the stupid credit card bank. My bank could do a stop payment but they wanted to jack me $39.00 and their is no way they could waive it. Long story short I have to wait 3 FULL business days to get my money back. I'm was sooo pissed especially when I have another bills coming up to pay for and I only get paid every 2 weeks.

There is no more customer service, its called that but you get sent right to the collection dept, where the employees without souls work.

Only once did BofA try to screw me with a late payment fee...my pops called right away and threatened to cancel all of his accounts and then they decided to not charge me a late fee That was about 6 years ago...A few days ago, i've had some interaction with BofA and nothing but good things!

Sorry to hear about your situation Stacy, but at least you spoke up!

Exactly. I give the banks nothing though. Its amazing that they used to secure and help your financial future and now they just ruin it and play with your money at your expense. They screwed everyone over the past few years and now theyre making tons with your bailout money from them screwing up and they still are running you. I give them nothing. The banks here in Canada are posting a 3-400% profit. Theres a reason for that and thats all the 30 dollar service charges and crooked policies. Bankers, politicians, lawyers and insurance execs. The pinnacle of the douche pyramid. They all need a good punch in the face from the everyday person.
