Question About GM Bodykit
So I've had a stock GM bodykit sitting around since Aug. I figure I'll paint it and put it on this week while it's still being stored. Do you guys recommend just scuffing and spraying it of should I primer it first. I know there's concern about the warranty thing, I was wondering if it is related to paint adheasion or just B.S. What did you guys do? If it was anything else abs I'd just scuff it and shoot it.

The factory GFX is sprayed in the same matte grey as the heritage grilles. We scuff with a grey scotchbrite pad and spray as usual, base and clear. Don't scuff with a red pad as it is too aggressive for the soft plastic and will show scratches through after clear has cured fully. Especially on the lighter colors.
