CANADIAN IO INTERIOR LIGHTING

I have looked for, but can't find a definite answer. Do Canadian cars with IO interiors have blue or orange ambient lighting. Mine is blue for everthing. I was expecting orange.

If you have IO interior the lights are supposed to be IO but I have heard of one other that had IO w blue lights.

It has been stated earlier on this forum that only the SS/RS has IO halos, the LT/RS has the blue.

Clarification:

The door ambient lighting is IO in both. guage cluster halos is different between LT and SS

I noticed the door panel color on a 1SS is the same color as the door panel itself, Does anyone know if there is ambient blue lighting in the 1SS also just like the 2SS???????????

Saw your other post also Canada cars with IO interior get the blue like all the others not orange. It's just for the US cars.

You are correct V6sonoma. My Canadian RS 2LT IO interior (IO interior is also refered to as "Bahia") also has the blue halos, as opposed to the orange. This has more to do with keeping GMs costs down. The Canadian cluster has different read-outs on them. Because of this, GM stocks only the blue halo cluster for the Canadian cars. There is not that many Canadian RS cars sold with the Bahia interior option.
