Thanks You Canadians

Did anyone see the special during the Olympics in where the little town took in over 7000 airline passengers that were downed because of 9/11. I don't believe I have ever heard of a story like this but it was wonderful to see that basic human kindness still does exist. Wished the news media would have publisized this as much as Tiger Woods.

The you tube video is

I saw that story in a documentary a few years after 9/11 and was so impressed about such kindness to total strangers...it seems that 9/11 brought out the best in people after it happened...too bad it takes tragedies like that for people to act like they care for others...

Wouldn't the world be a far better place if everyone treated each other with love and respect all the time??!!...'just sayin'...

Newfies are among the nicest people on the planet. They'd be surprised that anyone is even making a big deal of it.
