Interior Material Quality
OK, good day all around. Today I found out my car has a VIN
![]() #7999. Way cool.... By coincidence, my dealer got his demo V6 today as well, and I got to look it over up close and sit in it. So addressing what has been written about the "cheap interior material quality" let me say this: Assume for a minute your not buying a 50-60K car. If you can get past that I have to ask... WTF are you talking about? The dash was a simulated leather material. High grade.... let me repeat that.... high grade synthetic (probably uerathane based) material. Is it leather...no. Can you tell it's not leather.... yes, if your sitting there touching it. Looking at it from outside the car...no. Do I want to pay 10K more for leather....no, no, no. The dash layout is clean an efficient. As are the doors. The seats are incredibly comfortable (I'm 6'3, 190#). My wife drives a BMW 328xi. No sh_t, he Camaro seats are better quality and way more comfortable. And my car costs 8K less (not to mention the extra 200 HP). Leg room was impressive. More than what I need, and I like to ride with the seat way back. Hip room? Puts the 328Xi to shame. Head room.... no problem for me here either. Yes, the back seat is cramp. But compared to a 'vette or 370Z.... oh wait, they don't have one. The car has a cockpit feel to it. Do you have a panoramic view....no. But, I have to admit the closed in feel was kinda cool. A totally different experience. I liked it. Reminded me of a '78 'vette I got to drive a long time ago. I can't wait to drive MINE Anyway. Just wanted to put my $0.02 worth in. BTW, trunk was way bigger than I expected.

Amen to all these points. I actually was blown away by the interior quality.

I was pretty skeptical of the interior myself, until I sat in it. The dash and console have a VERY nice feel to it. Pictures really can't do it justice.

![]() I absolutely agree with everything you say. Once you see this car in person, no pictures or even in-depth reviews (well, except maybe Fbodfather's... ) do it justice.
