Question bout Vin #?
I never had paid much attention to my vin number but thought I would ask how you know what number it is? I got a brochure from my dealership that has my vin # and am interested just to see how early of a vin it is. So where do you start at for the vin ? Sorry for such a noob question.

Also check the sticker on the rear differential. This will have a date when the rear frame was built by Martinrea. From what I have read this assembly is built the day before the car's final assembly. It looks like this.

My car was built 5/1/09 and I was the 7085th Camaro built!!!...

Checked the sticker on my rear diff today while it was on the lift. Dated 12-12-2009, which is also my mother's birthdate.
Guess mine was born on 12-13-2009...cool. |
