Rusty Wallace Nascar Dyno Video!!!

If you have ever wanted to hear what a Nascar sounds like up close, other than being at a race, this is your best chance.

A customer of ours is a Nascar collector and brought one by to our dyno day in November. This is an OFFICIAL Rusty Wallace car that was purchased right from the track. The stickers are official and everything is as is from the last race

Hmm, conservative estimate (for 8500 rpm) puts that car at over 850 crank hp, with 900 being pretty achievable. And todays cars turn around 9500 rpm ...

I feel exactly the same way. I'm an IRL and ALMS fan now.

R&L Carriers brought one of their retired NASCARs to the warehouse I work at last summer. It still had the official Roush/Fenway Racing engine in it and I was standing right over the open hood admiring the engine when they fired it up..... Couldn't hear a damn thing the rest of the day
