but I went goat. I surfed this forum for almost a year thinking my next car would of been a new V8 Camaro. I just recently changed my mind. I always liked the GTO's and after a lot of investigation and negotiation, dealers are practically giving them away. It was more financially practical and I've been dying for something to yank my head back into my seat. There are definitely some pros and cons to going either way but I made the best decision for me.

I still think the Camaro is a fantastic car and I certainly do look forward to seeing you guys on the road. I just thought I'd do a /wave to a forum that provided me tons of information, laughs, and excitement over speculation about a dying breed of car...

how many hp does your gto have? 350 400?

if i was you i would of bought the g8 gt but thats just me

Haha... which would have went against everything he just said (financially practical). Great choice of a car and at least you are still in an American! Enjoy it, man.

I thought about a G8 but they felt a little big for me.

Hey it's cool! Enjoy your Goat! I was considering purchasing a an 06 GTO myself, but I'm sticking with the Camaro just for the purpose that it'll be my daily driver and I'm going to want it fully covered under a warranty, so the 5 year, 100,000 mile warranty from the date I get one, happens to be the only thing to persuade me to stick with waiting for the Camaro...

But hey, it's close enough...

I'd sock you in the mouth, but I'm happy you're in a car you like. There's nothing wrong with a Goat and I hope you're happy with your purchase. There's nothing keeping you from keeping up with about anything out on the road so I wish you the best of motoring
