Hurry up and WAIT....

So this past Tuesday I order up my Magnaflow Cat Back System. Got a Great Price from Brandon at IPS. They shipped it out and I was expecting the normal drop at the house sometime in the afternoon on Friday when someone would be home. Come to find out the FedEx truck came at 09:18 just after I went for breakfast! DAMN!

I'm glad I'm off on Monday. Had planned on some other things happening that morning but will cancel them so I can get the exhaust. Knowing my luck the truck will be on the normal route and I'll get it at suppertime instead of first thing in the morning.

SRY for the vent, just want this puppy to sing for me a bit!

Addiction it is.

Washed, waxed and now have full synthetics in all Oil bearing areas of the Camaro. It feels so good going through the gears now. A neighbor came by while it was up on the ramps and asked about it. He is in envy of it even though he drives a nice Mini Cooper with the supercharger on it. He was worried that he's seen it up on the ramps so much and I assured him I was not having problems that it was just mods and cleaning more than anything else. He got a laugh from that.

I hope your happy with the cat back kit. I'd love to get it, but don't really want to spend upwards of 900 bucks either.

and if you get the chance...take vids!

Well folks,

The exhaust arrived about 09:30 this morning. I had to wait till the wifey got ready for work and left at about 11:00. Started the install just after 11:00 and finished the complete install CAT BACK at 12:15! This was using just the rear tires on ramps flat on my back in the garage.

Initial look out of the box. No damage and very well packed. The resonated cross was high polished as well as the mufflers and the tips. Almost to nice to put underneath the car!

This is a quality piece, very well constructed and looking at the UNDERSIDE of the stock exhaust where there are some dimples in the tubing, I am VERY glad I went full cat back. I had ONE exhaust leak and that was due to my positioning of one of the front clamps. Repositioned, tightened down and all was fine.

Sound...Very mellow. maybe 5db to 10 db louder than stock at start up. Growls very nice going through 6 gears. No drone, but you can hear and feel it. I wish the Car had sounded this way at stock. After hearing some of the other exhaust systems, this one suits me the best and matches up well with what I will do with this car.

I have no real audio or camcorder so no vids....SRY!
