What V6 has the most horses and how was it acheived

I know little about cars, but I'm wondering what upgrades have V6 owners done and what numbers are they producing at what price.

BBK says with two parts we can add 30hp, but what have others done

Thats a good question. I think mrray has the most right now but I'm not sure...

I'll let one of them answer more definitively.

I've got longtubes, hiflow cats, axleback, cai and tuned. The tune won't gain you much, but it's worth it anyway.

I think bmwdon will have the most NA when he gets his heads/intake/tb assembled onto his car. He'll have everything I have plus the extras.

PieNsky is close to me in horsepower too, he's setup similar, but lacks tune I think.

Wel not exactly, go back and read it very carefully. You will find max gains at about 18hp according to them. Unfortunately know one knows since they arent available yet.

What are your numbers? Auto or Manual?

Not that I can tell, if I drive normal. The hard part is keeping my foot out of it, lol. If I do, I still average between 24-25 mpg combined. Stomp it a few times, it'll drop down to 21-22 mpg combined, which really doesn't hurt my feelings a bit, lol.

V6 Performance Options

This is a great thread. I'm new to these issues re performance mods and warrenties - please be patient.

So, is the bottom line that if you only use GMPP perfromance accessories, you are OK on warrenty?

How much hp gain should you expect for exhaust, CAI and shorties, individually and collectively? What is the best bang for the buck? I'm going to do the exhaust becauise I want the sound as well as power.

Does the new 312hp spec apply to the 2010 and 2011 Camaros? Is this rating at the flywheel or rear tires?

Thanks,

Blue

It applies to the 2010's as well as 2011, and the 312 is at the flywheel.
