Clear Bra gill area question?

I am having clear bra installed as I type. My installer is only putting film behind gills and in front of the rear tire. My question is to anyone who has their gills covered with one piece of film. Did the installer have to cut the film at all or is it just one piece molded into the indentations of the gills. My installer said he would have to slice the film the make it fit correctly. How was yours done? He also offered to put a piece of film in front of the gills. he just didn't seem confident that covering them would look right because he would have to cut it around the indentations?

I am not sure? My guess is he felt that the film would crease? Just a guess. I have to wait until tomorrow to talk to him and see if he can cover it in one piece. I sure hope he can I would hate to spend $600 and have an area i know is going to chip not be covered.

Has he done much 3M work? Sounds strange that he can't heat it up and mold into the gills. There really isn't that much depth to them. It's just a labour thing.

Just picked up the car and it looks perfect. He did a great job no bubbles creases anything. He did cover the gills with one piece with no problems. The biggest issue was i picked up two chips driving the car to the installer!
