Color Scheme opinion - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

i was toying with this idea for a color scheme. Black with flat black striping down the middle. This would have to be custom of course but what do you think?

I was kinda thinking the same.

This is the very issue i'm fussing over.

I've thought of IOM/Cyber grey stripes
or Cyber Grey with Black stripes
or Imperial Blue with Cyber stripes.

I'm just like AHHHHH

I think it looks pretty sweet. Did Knight Rider give you a little inspiration cause that was the first thing I thought when I saw the mustang w that set up.

That's a very hot rod look. When I was trying to figure out how to do the flames on my car, one option was going to be flat black flames into a gloss black car. I've seen it on old hot rods and it's pretty sweet, but you have to make sure that is the direction you are going before committing to something like that.

has anyone ever seen bare metal stripes? those look sick on black cars too

I want a flat black center stripe and hockey stripes on an Orange car.

Sometimes with a flat or satin finish if you get wax on it , it kind of messes up the edges.

If you are refering to my post, I wound up not doing that since I wanted something a little more flashy. I will look thru my pics from some of the hot rod shows I've been to and see if I can find a pic of the flat black flames. I know it's not the best pic, but my sig has the flames I wound up with. LMK if you want to see more! I love to share

I had considered black with cyber grey stripes since stripes are going to be cyber grey or white. I'm just not sure anymore what color I will order. Was dissapointed to hear the stripes will all be vinyl. I was hoping if ordered from factory, you'd get painted stripes. That just through a wrench in to my plans. WTF's up with that GM? I don't even think I want stripes now. I can get stick on stuff anywhere. Guess I'll have to spend some extra $$$ on paint aftermarket.

Nevermind, just saw new stripe package thread.

I wonder how much painted stripes would cost. I dont know now, I might go with white or red stripes. My final decision would have to be what they look like up close and personal. If the vinyl really looks like shite well i might spring for the custom striping.
