Injen Question
reading the various threads about Injen...I'm still pulling my hair out over whether or not I should buy it
, seems like a lot of folks went with the Airaid system if any of you techy guys could weigh in to help sway my decision it would be greatly appreciated

Injen is the only intake so far that we can say definitely improves performance. Airaid is popular (being the first to market helps) but its supposed gains simply haven't shown up in a lot of the private dyno runs that have been done.

What he said. Also, AirRaid is working on a new tube to help fix the problem discovered by the consumers who actually dyno'd and or performance tested with some kind of device ie; Matrix accelerometer, DashHawk, etc , and it's supposed to be close to being released. I vote Injen, it's the only true CAI for the v6 right now, it's the same cost, or less, then the others, has proven performance (even if the actual gains aren't the advertised ones) and looks cool as hell! |

![]() Not to mention, Airaid is also having to remake their intake tube to fix some issues they were having. The Injen is the only one right now that has proven dyno gains from multiple people, not just from the factory. |

i always chime into these about CAI, i have the G5CR and love it. if it does nothing else other than look good and sound good im happy. but i think it added some power, no proof though other than just my opinion using it. Think it really will come down to personal opinion, whatever you like most.

As one of the guys that independently first tested the airaid, and not having any experience with the injen I wouldn't be able to make a clear decision. I think it comes down to do you like a shiny/ or powder coated tube or a tube that is in your face? Do you want to see the filter or not? Personal opinion if the numbers can be produced by Airaid or not with the new tube they are working on. I would give yourself several months to see what comes out of all the tests. Besides, I have shown that the stock filter box is very capable of producing impressive results.

Injen, it is by far the best arrangement with the filter intake down where it has ability to get cool air. This is my second and I haven't been disappointed yet !

I've had my Injen installed for less than a week, and so far, I love it!

so whatever ive read about the car "relearning itself after modifications", does it do this with injen? seems what ive read is that every mod done (other than tuning) there is power increase at first, then disappears due to relearning or whatever. Injen somehow bypass this?
