A Little Dissapointing

So i went to a Chevy dealer grand opening yesterday and i saw they had an SLP ZL575. At first glance, i loved it, the rims, the stripes, That Hood .
BUT then when i get up to it, i am disappointed, the quality was a little disappointing, one of the ZL575 badges was falling of, and the edge of the stripes was not a clean line, it was all jagged.

Now before you flame me, i DO realize that these are minute details, but honestly for 28,000 dollars more, dont you think things should be pretty darn near perfect.

All in all it was still an awesome Camaro, but those things would really bother me.

Sorry for the little rant, i just hate seeing proof of the old term "they dont make em like they used"

and before anyone thinks i'm bashing the camaro, do realize i love this car, but i dont understand issues like that with a huge price tag

Agree with the stripes, mine cost $850 and they are perfect--Straight lines and buried in clear--Also the scoop filler has to go--But overall a great car

Small stuff like that should be right IMO. Especially considering they were probably the ones to put them on.

Someone hasn't got the memo on being the best employee you can... the job you save may be your own. For $28,000 more it should be perfect and shame on the dealer for displaying something in that condition that everyone is going to be looking at.

Pics?

I would imagine that what nags at us when we see that kind of thing is the thought..."If they didn't worry about getting the cosmetics right, how do I know the mechanical details are OK?"

Looking at that package...sounds like hwy robbery to me...guess you are paying for the warranty.
For 23k...I could build a BA Camaro.
Different stokes...

sorry, i couldnt get pics, i do like the dealer ad didnt want to draw attention to it on their opening day.

But if you have ever painted something where you have used tape and pulled the tape off a little too soon.you know, where the paint holds together a little and pulls little bits of the paint you wanted to keep with it.
