Custom Painted Engine Cover
I have recently installed a custom painted engine cover. My question is when I am detailing the engine, what should I use to detail the new cover? Some have told me if I use a nice coat of carnubua, it might yellow the clear coat due to the high temperature of the engine.

I would use a hand glaze or possible a sealant. I wouldn't put a carnuba on it either.
I put Optimum Opti-Seal on my custom engine cover. You either spray it on or put some on a application pad and rub it on. No need to rub it off or anything dries clear and has great durability. |
