anybody else getting dings on the thin lip of the fender from the tires throwing rocks?

I've gotten two on the front left .... heard the tire pick it up and throw it ... not too unusual until I saw that it had hit that pretty thin wall of the fender and dented it pretty good. Because the curves and bends their are fairly complex ... it looks horrible.

Anyone else having this problem?

Body shop just quoted me $600 to fix it!!!!

I'll try and get a picture of it...

I have wheel well dings, minor but they're there. I bought touch up paint specifically coded from my Chevy dealer, double tipped, brush and pen, for $15. I know it doesn't exactly smooth out the dings, but the color match and "minor esthetic" discomfort sure beats $600 for repairs.

you can do a search on here for "gills" and you will find many discussions about how soft the paint is.

This is why the Clear Bra was the first mod for my car. I'll be getting it back today, and I'll try to post some pic's of it (if the lines show).

Did I mention I love my car?
