No Z-Rated Tires Available
Anyone notice that on the V.3 spec list, the tires aren't Z rated anymore? I wonder if that means another brand besides Pirelli is on the SS?

I don't think you are looking at the V.3 sheet. Here is the link: http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro/pdf/...ifications.pdf Look at page 5.

OK, this is screwy!!! The hard copy the dealer gave me is the V.3 and it shows no Z tires. The link at Chevy.com shows Z rated!
I'm trying to upload the spec sheet the dealer gave me, but it's too large. I converted it to PDF, still too large. I compress it, then it's unreadable. I swear, it says no Z tires. There are few other formatting changes to it, but otherwise, it's the same info as the one on Chevy.com/Camaro Last edited by 69er; 10-13-2008 at 01:27 PM. Reason: more info |

OK, guys, I just got an email from chevy with this PDF link. http://email.chevrolet.bfi0.com/W0RH...E580B29F820AF0
No Z-rated tires. And, there are a few other details that have changed, including base prices, which, again, is a little different from what the dealer gave me earlier. I haven't looked closer at anything else on it. They must be changing the details by the hour! |

Pirelli PZero tires are Z rated. It doesnt matter if it doesnt say, you cant get PZeros that arent Z rated.
