I was on autoanything.com and narrowed it down to 8 intakes...

which would be my best bet on the V6 LS?

8 intakes? Wow, um, that's alot of choices! I would read the threads already created to make your decision!

pick which one you like the best. they all are going to do about the same. Alot of people though say injen is the best. I have the G5CR on mine and im happy with it.

I have the K&N 63 Series, the sound it outputs when I'm on the gas, I probably dont need an exhaust.

First of all, the 8 intakes on that site do not all fit the V6. You really have 5 main choices: KN aircharger, KN typhoon, Injen, Airaid, BBK (????).

Injen is the best one you can buy right now. It pulls cold air from the bottom of the car and it's proven on the dyno.

KN Aircharger and Typhoon are nearly the same. Aircharger has a plastic tube, Typhoon is polished. The Aircharger is supposed to get one more HP over the Typhoon.

The Airaid, well that was a debacle but they are releasing a new tube that is supposed to fix all the issues. You could wait and see how that turns out if you want.

The BBK, well depending on who you ask, it's either available or not released yet. Some members say they've ordered it but the line from BBK says it's not even finished yet. Who knows.

Vararam is supposedly working on something but if you want an intake in the foreseeable future my gut tells me to look away from them. They were initially my front runner now theyre off my list, at least for now.

I think the only one I didn't mention was the Blackwing..but that's just a tube, not really a new intake.

Sorry if I forgot any but this shoudl get you started.

I ordered the K&N Tyhpoon from our sponcer ecs motorsports for 259 shipped on friday, im still waiting for them to ship it.
