How come in some pictures I see the Mail slot, and in some pictures I do not? Is this something that we know...Most likely I am clueless...Somebody fill my dumba$$ in.

V6 doesnt have a mailslot, but the SS does

I would love to have a blue V8 SS without the mailslot, If I had to choose it would be the no mailslot. Only reason being Its not functional. why no cowlhood ? maybe it's on the way.

There is one out there that has the Lt V6 body but it has the LS3 V8 in side. It is the red one that was at Indy. NO you cant order the car like that. It was done back in 2007 for a purpos I cant recall. This info came from Fbodfather.

Give GM a little time like a year for the cowlhood. If they dont make one then there will be one in the aftermarket world.

It does have a cowl hood...they all do. Do you mean a functional cowl hood?

The aftermarket is a wonderful thing. Anything that your manufacturer doesn't make is available from somewhere else.
