P0336 and hard start

Anybody having the p0336 code pop up after a hard start with the stability trac light and 0 on the rpm gauge.. thought it was heat soak but I can go from the house to thre gas station which is a quarter of a mile away and have the same issue.. battery has been replaced.. haven't changed the sensor or the starter yet but before I get that far I wanna hear other ideals

When I would get heat soak it would hard start if at all even with stock new starter so I switched to the one in my mods as its higher torque and I have higher compression engine. It of course would throw the nannie lights on and then go limp if not starting quick enough....and have to cool down, and sometimes I would disconnect and reconnect the battery to clear it if I could not get it restarted fast enough and just give it time.

I tried lots, like removing the center section of the hood seal which is heat evacuation with no rain in, wrapped the starter..new stock, bypass with zero ohm wire, check and reqround wires.... But basically a good battery and a good starter is all you need and the stock starter is a mini starter on our camaros so you might as well go higher torque for the same price...I know I have a fairly new stock starter in a box in my shed...…. No comparison to the higher torque starter...no great answer like wrapping your headers is that great either...… wrapping things also has a tendency to hold heat in also to things like the starter....BTW..... SO that's my advice others have tried the starter and solved their problems if your looking for a good solution..... And the starter I used has to be clocked to align it better very easily done...and the stock heat shield is garbage its tossed and the thing is you just need a eyelet type connector and ditch the stock electrical connector to the new starter and keep it away form the sensor that comes out the side of the oil pan...easy breezy really..... and yes it does crank a lot faster......I know with cammed , stroked etc its harder to crank...… Good Luck
