Mods/aftermarket parts Vs. Trade In

Would modding/having aftermarket parts installed make it difficult to trade in a car? Im asking because I plan to trade in my 2LT for an SS...

Mods should only be done for yourself. Never do it to expect money back. You get about .10 cents on the dollar.

Getting more for your car with mods would be in the eye of the buyer but it also limits your market.

Some aftermarket companies like LPE will hold better resell value than other companies.

Dealers feel the same as I posted. Most of the time you will get stock trade in values or they will pay less for your car with mods on it. This is why people de-mod there car prior to taking it in.
