Ebay Sellers

Do you guys think that when you are bidding on something, other sellers come in and bid higher so they can help out that seller to raise the price?
For example:
I'm bidding on an item right now and bid was at $30 I bid with my highest price of $90 so that brought the bid to $31. Then couple minutes later a bidder comes in and pushes it up to 41, 50, 63, now $70 I clicked on 3 of 5 of the bidders and all 3 of them were sellers. So my theory/question is do you think that sellers create other accounts come in and bid on purpose to raise the price or they agree with each other to do this because they do not want to sell the item at such a low price?

If you use Ebay much...sure....but you can combate it...use eSnipe. If you don't know what that is, it will place your bid for you as few as 2 seconds before the auction ends, and their clocks are set to Ebays clocks. I have used it for years....its a great tool to use buying things off ebay. here is a link to their site....and to join its free, their fees are VERY MINIMAL......WHEN you win, for any auction $25 or less, teh fee is 25 cents. $25 t- $1000, its 1%, and above $1000, the fee is $10......if you lose for some reason, you pay NOTHING. http://www.esnipe.com/

it just pisses me off like you put this item online and you start the minimum bid at $20, then if i'm winning at $40 EXPECT TO GET PAID 40!!! other wise they should post it as buy it now

yea i guess thats true but bidding usually gets me a lower price than "Buy it Now" but that's only if no one is scamming

Bonnie usually keeps a close eye on her items she's bidding on. Instead of posting your max bid, go with 1.00 increments and make the scammer end up buying his or her own item.

You serious? If it's an open auction, then what's the beef? If it's an auction with no buy it now, bid the MAXIMUM you are willing to pay for an item. Or use eSnipe to put the bid in for you at the MAXIMUM you are willing to pay for an item. If you get it for less, then consider it a bonus.

Don't whine that someone, for whatever reason, bids more than you do. It's how it works. If you got proof of someone scamming, then turn them in. Otherwise, you're not out any money if you don't have the highest bid.

I fail to see the issue here except you're mad that others outbid you. Prove it's a scam or move on and find another item like that one and bid on it. Good things come to those who wait sometimes. I lost a bid on what I thought was a scam. Two weeks later, an identical item showed up and I got it for 20% of the price I was willing to pay earlier. It'll all come out in the wash in the end.

im not mad that others outbid i just have a theory that sellers create accts to bid on items they are selling to raise the price that's all....take a
and yea i guess my post was kinda vague but what i meant was why are they doing this if they post an item at a low price and no one else is bidding?
