v6 mustang boom tubes

ok i have an idea or possible solution to the longtubes sounding weak. ive been heavily interested in longtube headers for some time and been comparing axleback kits before and after longtubes. after longtubes were installed, the sound seems to get kinda weak. needs to be deeper. compare

MRT2.0 only

Mrt2.0 and ARH long tubes

so i did some searching and found these:

http://www.ninosport.com/ProductDeta...uctCode=BT2566

Pacifica Performance Boom Tube Axle-Back 2005-09 Mustang V6 - BT2566
$199.95 free shipping. they have perforated baffles inside. Anyway they make the v6 mustang sound amazing!! listen

also find here for $325 for two which is what we would need.

http://www.lastcallracing.com/pacifi...-axleback.html

Might have to modify a little to make fit. IDK. So based on our limited info and being unable to hear arh longtubes with stock catback and mufflers. i would suggest using these boom tubes with your arh headers to give it the deeper rumble it needs.

Just an idea. no need for flaming

Your MRT 2.0 example, at least, is not a good comparison. Those systems are NOT the same with the only difference being the long tubes. The first system is a full stock system: 2.25 inch piping with an H-pipe. The second system is a full 2.5 inch system with an X-pipe. The X-pipe in particular will add a lot of rasp in the upper RPMS.

I think its great you're looking for other ways to make the V6 exhaust deeper. I'm doing the same thing. But your examples aren't accurate.

P.S. - Stainless Works's new exhaust system is similar. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...rks+redesigned
